Question Your Work
We are big fans of 37 Signals and their philosophy of ”Getting Real” and keeping things simple. It has relevance and value in aspects of planning, strategy, creativity and business beyond on-line product development. Keeping things simple sometimes falls along the wayside, resulting in a long fall into a hole of mediocrity, confusion and the death of a good idea.
Jason Fried reminds us of a few basic and fundamental questions to stay on track and “keep it real”. Ask yourself these questions when making decisions and many times the simple path will reveal itself as the logical option to provide a better outcome for everyone. As Fried says, “At the end of the day it’s all about making the right decisions about the right things at the right time.” Read the full posts for the details. and a full recap of Jason Fried’s SXSW presentation is here.
