American Survivor Poster

Hurricane Katrina was one of the deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. During Hurricane Katrina 1,836 people lost their lives. The aftermath has left hundreds of thousands people homeless. FEMA is a branch of the United States Department Of Homeland Security. Their job is to respond to a disaster which has occurred in the United States and which overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities. Yet years later many of the Survivors of Karina are still victims of FEMA.
